The Abcam Competitive In Vitro Angiotensin PCR-a-Elisa-soupravy (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is designed for the precise quantitative measurement of Angiotensin A in plasma and serum.
A polyclonal goat anti-rabbit IgG antibody was pre-coated onto 96-well plates. Standards or test samples are added to the wells, along with biotin-conjugated angiotensin A solution, followed by a polyclonal anti-angiotensin A solution. The plate is washed to remove unbound reagents. The streptavidin-HRP conjugate solution is then added.
After further incubation, excess reagents are washed away and TMB substrate is added, which is catalyzed by HRP to generate a yellow colour. A stop solution changes this colour from yellow to blue, and the intensity of this blue colouration is inversely proportional to the amount of Angiotensin A captured on the plate.
